Course Details : THREE TUESDAY MORNING WORKSHOPS

For Screen Directors Working with Actors

Schedule: Regular Tuesday Morning Workshops. Series begins on the first Tuesday of the month.
Dates: Next Series of 3 sessions begin Tuesday 4th Oct, then 11th and 18th Oct.
Cost: $200 (plus GST) for all 3 sessions.

If you are interested in developing your directing skills with actors, then these three workshops will be of interest.

  • Learn more about script analysis - for instance, what Michael Rabiger identifies as the 'obligatory moment'.
  • Learn about what Judith Weston calls, 'result directing' and how to direct actors using motivation, actions and beats.
  • Receive E-NOTES before each class.
  • Learn more about:
       - linking staging to camera coverage
       - directing actors by working with them
       - developing 'a conscious process' as a director
